The upcoming release Sister Years is a noir-style alternative single, inspired by Nick Cave and Fiona Apple, with punk influences. It explores the emotions within the novel Elizabeth Is Missing by Emma Healey, which follows a woman's attempt to solve a murder mystery whilst battling dementia. The eerie yet playful sound moves the listener through the story, leading to an intense climax.

Their debut single, Broken, is an emotionally-fueled Gothic pop track about raw, forbidden desire. They also filmed a music video. Influences include The Cure and Kate Bush.

THE BAND
​
Four-Legged Fruit was born as an experimental project in 2017. Having met at school in Bath, UK, Elise Elston and Rosa de Korte would sneak into the music classrooms during lunchtimes to compose music, becoming an official band in 2019. Their fellow schoolmate Ruben Angress joined the following year, taking on a less central role. Their style glides between art pop and alternative rock genres, with the piano at the heart of the sound.
